So, i decided that this blog isn't going to be all about art and painting. It may be about ridiculous thoughts i have or more pictures of my dog, or just blabber because i'm bored. I hope nobodies offended by my declaration that "Art, Art, and more Art" may not actually be an accurate title for my blog. "Art, Art, Molly's Dog, a Bunch of Nonsense, Stupid Quotes, and more Art" may be a clearer reflection of what i will add to this blog. ... And even though i graduated third in my class in high school, got a perfect score on my AP Calculas test, and am a college graduate, i refuse to be confined by the pressure of being grammatically correct on my blog. I'm pulling the dumb artist card, and giving myself the freedom to use phrases like 'more happy,' or not correctly use 'its' verses 'it's,' or on the flip side use really big words like subterfuge and quixotic even if i'm not quite sure that I am using them in the correct context.

Here's one of my favorite paintings. Her name is Jackie. She was such a good model. Its a 11" x 14" oil on canvas painting. I finished it in May-ish, i think. It was accepted to the 84th Annual Spring Salon of The Springville Art Museum of Art for 2008. Now the clients have it and love it. Yeah. LOL... :) Well, i guess this blog title has been proven null and void considering that i have not posted any art, nor more art, nor even more art in the almost-year since i created it. ... But, fellas, that is about to change.
I guess i'll start with a cute little drawing that I completed in three hours on my flight home from Indiana for Thanksgiving. It was past midnight and everybody was sleeping except the industrious little artist with her ipod on and her folder propped up on her knees as a drawing board.
